Lead vocalist Carol Portillo is a long-time veteran of the Texas and New Mexico music circuits.
A native of New Mexico, Carol has opened for national acts such as Brooks & Dunn, Little Joe, Ram Herrera, Emilio, Holly Dunn, Selena, War and Ruben Ramos.
Carol maintains her popularity through her chameleon-like ability to entertain crowds of many cultures and ethnicities. Whether it is a rowdy bar or a major festival, Carol puts her heart, soul and faith into every song she sings. She is a true performer.

Her ability to sing a wide variety of music, including Motown, Pop and Rock, Country,
Today's hits, Tejano, and her Latin Originals; allow Carolina to bring her music to many cultures and ages.

Carol Portillo has always strived to be an accomplished singer/songwriter.
Carol has released two Cd's, "Soy" (Latin Rock/Pop) and "Que Voy Hacer" (Tejano).
In them we are made privy to Carolina's innermost thoughts and deepest feelings which express her
indomitable will and desire to just be herself -- complete.

Carolina recently moved back to her home state of New Mexico and resides in Albuquerque.

Coming from a musical family, Ted started out playing classical music on the family piano and watching his older siblings perform in local bands. He played keyboards throughout his school years but when he started sitting in on the drums at local jam sessions his interest in drumming and percussion took over.

Over the years Ted has played drums and contributed lead and backing vocals for several different working bands, playing a variety of cover and original music in the Denver and Albuquerque music scenes.

Some of his favorite drummers are Tom Brechtlein, Tre' Cool, Chris Layton, and Neil Peart.

Gene began playing guitar at the age 15 and is self taught.
Gene got real serious when a friend handed him a tape
by a little Texas boy named Stevie Ray Vaughn. Stevie Ray Vaughn has been
his biggest guitar influence ever since.

The types of music Gene likes playing is blues, rock, funk and heavy metal.
He has played in couple bands in Albuquerque.
Gene plays Fender guitars and uses a Fender and Crate amps, Digitech effects,
Tube screamer, and bad monkey effect.

Originally from Alaska, Joe received his first guitar for Christmas in 1964 which set him on his musical path. He started playing Bass Guitar in several Interior Alaska bands during the 60’s and 70’s, achieving local success. Over the last four years, Joe has added the 6 string guitar and singing to his musical resume, occasionally being accompanied by his wife on cello. Favorite music influences include Eagles, Beatles, Tom Petty, SRV, to name a few. Joe is thrilled and honored to be playing music with this group of talented individuals.

Bill Zerbe (Hammond Organ, Piano, Keyboards)

It was 1967, in San Diego, Ca. that Bill joined his first rock and roll band. His first keyboard was a Vox Continental but it wouldn’t be long before he got his first Hammond organ and the love affair began. He has been playing the Hammond organ in one configuration or another ever since.
Bill has applied his skills on the Hammond organ and piano in both the Kansas City blues circuit and San Francisco music scene before moving to Albuquerque, NM. He has shared the stage with, recorded with and/or opened for such notables as Lonnie Brooks, Sherman Robertson, Tab Benoit, Tommy Castro, and Elvin Bishop, to name a few, as well as having toured nationally with harmonica sensation Brody Buster and the BWB Band. His funky organ and boogie-woogie piano can be heard on many Kansas City and San Francisco recordings.
