Ted started out with piano lessons at a young age and continued to play through his school years, practicing on the family piano in the living room, and eventually playing keyboards for a local band. He also had an interest in drums and percussion, and had begun sitting in on drums at various jam sessions. He soon realized he was having a lot more fun making all that noise and decided he wanted to pursue drumming instead. Around this time the drummer in the band he was playing keyboards for left to pursue other interests, and at the urging of his bandmates Ted started drumming for the band. This led to gigs around the Albuquerque area until he relocated to Denver, where he played drums with several different cover and original bands over the years. After a return to Albuquerque he concentrated on songwriting and recording with a longtime friend and associate, resulting in a CD of original material. Once again feeling the urge to perform on stage, Ted is now enjoying the experience of playing with the undisKovered Band!
